A Wedding Rooted in Love, Friendship, and Community
Ben and Laura's relationship has always been deeply rooted in community. Throughout their dating journey, they grew closer not just as a couple, but as integral members of their church, small group, and tight-knit circle of friends. So, when it came time to plan their wedding, they knew they wanted it to be more than just a celebration of their love—it was about celebrating the relationships that had shaped their journey.
“These people have been with us from the very beginning,” Ben shared. “It’s really special for us to have them here.”
Their wedding day was a beautiful reflection of that sentiment. The church where their love story began wasn’t just a venue; it was a meaningful part of their celebration—both the physical space and the incredible people who filled it. Adding to the joy, their closest friends traveled from all over to be in Denver, ensuring that every moment was surrounded by love and support.
The result? A day overflowing with heartfelt emotion, deep friendships, and a true celebration of marriage and community—exactly what Ben and Laura had hoped for.

the final preperation
It was incredibly meaningful for Laura and Ben to tie the knot in their home church—Park Church in Denver, Colorado. They couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue. Originally built in 1919, the historic Washington Park United Methodist Church, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of its sanctuary in 2019, embodies timeless elegance and charm. With its stunning architecture and rich history, it provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.
Beyond its beauty, the church's layout was equally ideal. With its spacious design spanning three stories and numerous rooms, it offered a seamless setup for both the bride and groom to prepare for the big day. Laura and her bridesmaids enjoyed getting ready downstairs, while Ben and his groomsmen prepared upstairs—creating the perfect blend of excitement and anticipation leading up to their heartfelt "I do."

the first look
Although Ben had always dreamed of the moment he’d see Laura walking down the aisle, the couple chose to have a first look—and it was one of the best decisions they made. Prioritizing quality time with their friends and family during the reception was their top goal (second only to becoming husband and wife), and the first look gave them the flexibility to do just that.
This intimate moment proved to be truly invaluable. It allowed them to slow down, connect, and savor the significance of their day before the whirlwind of the ceremony began. Sharing a few quiet moments alone, they were able to take it all in—just the two of them, for the last time as an unmarried couple. And, of course, we captured some truly breathtaking memories along the way.

Capturing the Joy: From Tears to Laughter
There were tears, laughter, even more tears, and then excited giggles as they headed out for portraits before the ceremony! We began with intimate couple's portraits, followed by individual shots, lively wedding party group photos, and finally, cherished family formals. Each moment captured the love, excitement, and anticipation that continued to build up to the ceremony.

A Heartfelt Ceremony Filled with Love and Meaning
Ben and Laura’s ceremony was nothing short of magical—a beautiful reflection of their love and faith. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged heartfelt vows in the very church that played such a significant role in their relationship.
As Laura walked down the aisle, emotions ran high, with tears of joy and smiles lighting up the room. The couple's love and commitment were evident in every glance, every touch, and every word spoken. From the touching readings to the heartfelt prayers, every aspect of the ceremony was a true celebration of their journey together.
In the end, as they were pronounced husband and wife, cheers and applause filled the sanctuary—marking the beginning of their new life together as a married couple.
Bigsby's Folly Craft Winery & Restaurant
Ben and Laura wanted their reception to reflect who they are—fun, genuine, lighthearted, and centered around their loved ones. They envisioned an atmosphere where friends and family could come together, relax, and truly celebrate. Bigsby’s Folly Craft Winery & Restaurant was the perfect choice, holding a special place in their hearts as one of their favorite spots in Denver.
After the ceremony, guests gathered at the charming urban winery, where the warm ambiance, delicious food, and handcrafted wines set the perfect tone for the evening. Laughter echoed through the space as heartfelt toasts were shared, joyful dances filled the floor, and the couple soaked in every moment surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
With great food, unforgettable memories, and a whole lot of love, Ben and Laura's reception was everything they dreamed of—and more.

to happily ever after
After a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, Laura and Ben shared heartfelt hugs and final moments with their cherished friends and family. As they prepared to embark on their next adventure, they made their way through a joyful victory tunnel of their loved ones, who cheered them on and filled the air with shimmering bubbles.
The atmosphere was electric with excitement, laughter, and a few happy tears as the newlyweds soaked in the moment. With hearts full and smiles wide, they stepped into their waiting car, ready to begin their honeymoon and the next chapter of their lives together. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with love, community, and celebration.
